Chaplaincy (Abingdon)

The Spiritual and Pastoral Care team is made up of staff and volunteers from across a wide range of faiths and offers support to patients and staff across the Trust.

The support needed will vary as the needs of the patients and staff will be different on any given day or month but may range from being a listening ear through to faith based discussions and prayers. The role does not ask volunteers to encourage a particular faith with those they speak to but rather provide a steady and calming presence that can support anyone if they have need.
