Volunteer to Career – Speech and Language Therapy Volunteer (Volunteer to Career – Speech and Language Therapy Volunteer)

We have a great opportunity for volunteers to support the Speech and Language therapy team at OSRU, our Stroke rehabilitation unit in Abingdon Community Hospital. The main role of the volunteer will be to support the speech and language therapy team with tasks and support patients to engage in activities that promote recovery and rehabilitation.

This is a new Volunteer to Career opportunity and would suit volunteers aged 18+ who have a specific interest in Speech and Language therapy as a career pathway. This role supports the Volunteer to gain experience in this field whilst supporting the SLT team as a Volunteer, experience that will be advantageous when applying for future SLT roles.
